the beautiful walk along the boyne in navan was devestated last night when a car carrying two females crashed and overturned into the boyne canal out side navan. One female occupant managed to escape and raise the alarm, Garda, Ambulance service, Navan Fire service were at the scene and two units for the Irish Coast guard from Drogheda with a boat was requested to attend to assist in removing the second occupant from the car which was nearly fully submerged in the water.
