Garda Forensic Collision Investigators were called to Grangegeeth, Slane, following a collision involving a motor car and a van at a crossroad junction. The driver of the car, a male aged 27 years, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Our Ladies Hospital Navan where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
